Congratulations to Ms. Ana Mack, our amazing administrative assistant, on her recognition as the June 2024 FCPS CARES Region 3 Recipient of the Month presented by the FCPS Department of Human Resources.

The FCPS CARES Program is an opportunity for parents, staff, and community members to recognize FCPS employees for going above and beyond to help others and show they care. We invite you to submit your story below, so we can all acknowledge the good work of FCPS employees.

Below is the write-up submitted by two Sandburg Middle School colleagues.

Ana Mack is an essential part of Sandburg! She not only controls most daily operations at Sandburg but she is also consistently going out of her way to make sure everyone at Sandburg has all of their needs met. She is incredibly organized and is always very knowledgeable and willing to help with all things related to FCPS. She helped me with so many different HR policies, especially when it came to understanding maternity/paternity leave within the county. She is always someone who is willing to just listen and care for all employees if they have a concern or just need someone to listen to them. Not only does she fulfill all of her daily job requirements expertly, she also goes above and beyond and always helps out everyone even if it isn't required of her. She is a hard worker and has a kind soul! For me, as an employee, she is one of the best things about Sandburg Middle School!

Her proactive approach and resourcefulness have saved the day on countless occasions. We are incredibly fortunate to have Ana on our team. Her hard work, kindness, and dedication do not go unnoticed.
